Michael, we just wanted to say THANK YOU again! First of all, the band was absolutely incredible. As you could tell, everyone had an absolute blast. You did such a great job playing at the ceremony, cocktail hour, MC’ing and managing the flow of events. We truly can’t thank you enough for helping us w/ our duet surprise, and for letting me and my band sit in for a song. I know we threw a lot of crazy requests at you, and you knocked ‘em all out of the park without blinking an eye! Again, sincere thanks for making our wedding a truly unforgettable night. All the fine bands in New York…
With all the many fine bands there are to choose from in New York, some of my friends were puzzled when I flew a band in all the way from Seattle for my daughter’s wedding. But I had heard the Michael Benson Band play, and from that night on, I knew that when my daughter got married, that band would be my choice. We were able simply to give him a date and some general idea of the music we wanted and leave the rest up to him. The result was a flawless performance, the climax of a day which my daughter said was the best day of her life. I don’t think there is a better recommendation than that. “20 somethings”
It’s amazing when we perform how consistently a 20-something venue staff walks up to the stage when we’re done with something like, ”Hey guys, you seriously rocked it. What an incredible job!” Or something like that. Now these kids don’t HAVE to bother saying it but they do, one hundred percent. But couples who wonder how we’d “connect” with a mainly 20-something crowd are missing the boat. As always, the connection is made.

The year leading up, they were communicative, accommodating, and were even willing to learn new songs for our first dance and father/daughter dance. Warmth and dignity
Just a quick note to say how very much I appreciate your graciousness & amazing professionalism. You guys are THE BEST! I’ve worked with a few bands at weddings lately and not only do you guys blow them out of the water musically, you just carry yourselves with a warmth and dignity they are sorely lacking. The Michael Benson Band is amazing. They are so professional and great at what they do. If you are deciding between a band and a DJ, go with a band – and go with Michael Benson. It brought our guests’ whole wedding experience to the next level. MBB did our ceremony piano music, dinner background music, and reception/dance music. I wouldn’t change a thing! By far the best wedding band in Seattle.

Weight off of our shoulders
We just got back from our honeymoon and I wanted to thank you again for everything. I must say how awesome the music was. I initially was worried about how much effort it would be to have a live band at the reception but after contacting many bands and getting poor responses, your professionalism let me know I could just trust you to handle the music. It took a huge weight off of our shoulders for the planning. I especially appreciated how you handled my mistake dialing up our first dance song on the iPhone – again, extremely professional. The music selection was perfect and you made sure we were happy throughout the night without being overbearing. So many people came up to me throughout the night and next day to say how awesome the band was. Thank you so much for playing at our wedding. – Spring, 2016 groom.
