The word from the kitchen
The kitchen staff at Pacific Tower Seattle reported dancing in the kitchens on our Feb. 23, 2019 performance. At tear-down time they came out to say “You guys are THE most incredible live band we’ve ever heard here”. They didn’t throw the party, but they got all the fun just working for it!

Hot dance band – unforgettable
Michael was fantastic to work with and I really appreciated them playing for our wedding Nov.17, 2018. People just danced the night away and even danced during the cocktail hour after the ceremony. If you want a truly professional band to play your wedding this is it. At the time of hire we had a little sticker shock but would not hesitate to hire them again as they provide the full service and are so professional. The lead singer in Michael’s absence (Darelle Holden) used to sing back up for names you would know!

New Years Eve 2019
OH WHAT A NIGHT! Chihuly Garden and Glass and The Space Needle put on a spectacular sold-out NEW Year’s Eve Party. Amazing food, ambience, and a stunning pyro-technic show and digital light show. Nothing prepared us
Thank you for being the highlight of our wedding. We had heard so many great things about you but nothing prepared us for the party you created. Everything from the prep to ceremony to reception was perfection. Friends were amazed by your musicianship – tasty guitar solos, insane EWI horn solos, precision bass and drums, and versatility on keyboard and vocals. Great stuff! Behind the scenes
The first call after we got engaged (literally days later) was to Michael. We had been to several weddings where the Michael Benson Band performed so we were familiar with their talent and knew they were a must-have for our wedding. But there is a difference between being a guest enjoying the band and being the client hiring the band. I can now tell you that he is equally amazing behind the scenes as he is on stage. You won’t be disappointed
One of the highlights of our wedding was having this band. They were INCREDIBLE. Everyone – younger friends to even older generations – loved them and kept asking us their name and where we found them. They rocked the house and everyone was dancing and having a great time. I couldn’t have been happier with our decision to hire them for our wedding. Everything was perfect from the ceremony piano to the dinner trio for light background music, to the reception, and all the MC’ing in between was top notch. Icing On The Cake
We can’t thank you enough for how fun, romantic, classy, and uplifting you made our night with your talented and hard-working band. We have had so many comments from guests about how impressed they were with you, and your rapping to Jay Z was the icing on the cake! Pretty much everyone there wants to hire you for their wedding.

Knocked ’em out of the park
Michael, we just wanted to say THANK YOU again! First of all, the band was absolutely incredible. As you could tell, everyone had an absolute blast. You did such a great job playing at the ceremony, cocktail hour, MC’ing and managing the flow of events. We truly can’t thank you enough for helping us w/ our duet surprise, and for letting me and my band sit in for a song.
