Along with all the 70-80-90’s party “wedding” hits, we break out legit Rap and R&B into our flow. This is the game changer: Nelly, Usher, Ludacris, Beyonce, Eminem, Jay-Z, DJ Khaled, Macklemore, Blackstreet, Snoop. And NEVER pre set-listed. Always mashed-up on the fly, DJ style.
A band-to-audience connection
So that’s the big MBB difference. This insane repertoire and a band-to-audience connection that never goes slack. If a tune doesn’t work we’re on to one that does. Our motto: never die clinging to a song list. This dynamic, spontaneous flow with R&B/Rap is unforgettable live. Now, back up to the cocktail/dinner hour and you find the other MBB difference: Before our dance party sets are off to the races, hip live jazz and the elegant Sinatra-era American Songbook sets a classy tone, ala NYC supper clubs.
